Savvy Youth was created with you in mind.
Growing up I experienced the harmful, unhealthy behaviors and lifestyles wreaked by poverty on families and environments. I saw firsthand what happens when it feels like there’s no way out– how hopelessness causes complacency, and how easily we can be conditioned to our environment when it’s the only option we see for ourselves.

Most days, it felt like our neighborhood was made of quicksand- where we were all being consumed by the atrocities surrounding us.
I escaped poverty by seeing the neighbors I never had. After realizing that other people did live better, and that someday I could too, I developed a different outlook on my future and my surroundings.
I invite you to act. I invite you to change your mindset. I invite you to Savvy Youth.
