Savvy Youth was established from a simple but powerful belief:
Every young person has the potential to become confident, capable, and savvy—not by chance, but through meaningful experiences, trusted guidance, expanded opportunities, and a connected support system.

We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths, explore possibilities, prepare for the future, and pursue meaningful pathways toward lifelong success.
Over time, however, it became increasingly clear that improving youth outcomes requires more than creating another program.

Savvy Youth was created to help strengthen those connections, support innovative readiness solutions, and work alongside communities to help shape future generations of Savvy Youth.

Qiana Hicks
Founder, Savvy Youth & Pathway Forward
For Qiana Hicks, this work is personal. She grew up making big decisions about education, work, and her future with little direction, and as a young parent learned firsthand what it takes to build a brighter future against the odds.
Those experiences, paired with more than 25 years in technology leadership and workforce development, became the foundation for Pathway Forward and Savvy Youth.
